As such it sets a transformative  agenda to support countries in equipping youth and adults with the skills in demand and offer lifelong learning opportunities to all. It will work to enhance the relevance of TVET systems within a lifelong learning perspective, together with the UNEVOC-Network and the Inter-agency group on TVET. The Strategy also includes a range of flagships such as the Global Skills Academy, under the umbrella of the Global Education Coalition, which will mobilize businesses and international organizations including ILO and OECD to equip ten million youth with digital skills. It encompasses actions to train TVET teachers and trainers and set-up a global skills tracker to monitor skills demand and supply and renew and recognize qualifications within and across-borders.Now more than ever, we must step up our collective efforts to equip youth and adults in acquiring new skills for new jobs, helping them unlock their potential to successfully navigate the social, economic, and environmental changes which the world is undergoing. This is part of forging a new social contract for education to reimagine more sustainable futures together.Stefania Giannini UNESCO Assistant Director-General for Education
